The main KHEMEIA's culture is to develop improvement projects of environmental aspects. Harmony among the company, the community and the environment is the main issue for us, that´s why we have a permanent environment internal group which aims to prevent, suggest and apply environ-mental control measures, effluent and residues treatment, in a rigorous and demanding environmental process, allied to local environmental legislation, creating a sustainable development, looking for the use of natural renewable resources, the community well being and the future generations sustainability.

That way, KHEMEIA points out as an ecologically correct company, which has been awarded with several prizes, among them the important Fritz Muller environment prize, granted by Fundação do Meio Ambiente de Santa Catarina.

This conquest points out KHEMIA´s contribution to the continuous improvement of its processes, adjusting its productive activities to the environment.
